Football Referees WA Perth supplies referees for the majority of the metropolitan soccer associations. Those covered include Mens Semi-Professional, Juniors, Womens and the High Schools Soccer Competition. In addition to the metropolitan soccer leagues, FRWA Perth also supplies referees for the Hyundai A-League, with one referee and three assistant referees currently selected for the HAL.

Football Referees WA Perth conducts courses regularly throughout the year for new people wishing to take up refereeing. Please see the Courses section for more information.

For existing referees, FRWA Perth conducts regular training sessions on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30pm. In addition to this fitness training, compulsory law lectures are held on the first Wednesday of each month in the winter season. Both of these are held at the Noranda Sports & Recreation Centre. Referees may also seek to upgrade their refereeing qualifications and FRWA Perth conducts upgrades each year for the Level 1 and Level 2 courses.
